As a Residential Manager, you'll lead a team dedicated to providing person-centered support in a supervised IRA, ensuring individuals have safe, meaningful, and fulfilling lives while maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of Direct Support Professionals to provide exceptional person-centered services.
  • Oversee the daily operations of a supervised IRA while ensuring compliance with OPWDD regulations and Starbridge policies.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and staff development.
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement Life Plans and individualized supports.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, incident reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure the home, property, vehicles, and equipment are safe, clean, and well maintained.
  • Monitor program budgets, occupancy, and operational needs.
  • Serve as an on call manager and provide support during emergencies or staffing needs.
  • Build positive relationships with families, community partners, and government agencies.
What You'll Bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience in a certified residential setting.
  • Five years of experience in a certified residential setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of OPWDD regulations and person-centered supports.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other web-based applications.
  • Valid New York State driver's license and a registered, insured vehicle.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on call responsibilities.
