What You'll Do
- Provide clinical oversight and advocacy for people living in our residential programs
- Assess medical needs and build nursing service plans that reflect what each person wants for their own life
- Coordinate care with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Train and certify residential staff on medications and health procedures
- Keep clinical documentation current and audit ready
What You'll Bring
- A current New York State Registered Nurse license
- One year of nursing experience after licensure, or a BSN
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the judgment to work independently across multiple homes
- Comfort teaching and coaching residential staff on medications and health procedures
- A valid New York State driver’s license and an insured, registered vehicle
- Experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, or in an OPWDD funded program, is welcome and not required
